Question
HI, THANKS FOR YOUR PREVIOUS ANSWER, YES YES I WAS UNDER GENERAL ANAESTHESIA FOR MY C-SECTION BECAUSE MY HOSPITAL SAID THEY WOULD NOT PAY FOR EPIDURAL ( I LIVE IN GREECE) AND YES I WAS AWARE UNFORTUNATELY. WOULD IT BE OK IF I ASKED FOR A SEDATIVE BEFORE SURGERY OR WOULD IT AFFECT MY ANESTHESIA AT ALL ?

THANKS

Answer
Absolutely you can ask for some sedation prior to surgery (and they should give it to you whether you ask or not. Make sure to tell your next anesthesiologist that you had awareness with your previous general anesthetic so they can take appropriate precautions.
