Anesthesiology/What route should I take?

Question
I've been set on becoming an Anesthesiologist since highschool.
Now that I've finished my basics, I'm confused as far as what Major I should declare and what courses would benefit me. Would you mind giving me some clues as what to do.

Thank you SO much!
Sincerely,
Jacqueline Falk

Answer
You can major in anything you want in college as long as you take all the pre-requisite courses needed for medical school. There are no specific courses in college that will benefit you specifically for anesthesiology but any of the science or math courses should help you as far as medical school.
