Question
CAN YOU HAVE YOUR APPENDIX REMOVED WITHOUT GOING UNDER GENERAL ANESTISA, AND HAVING AN EPIDURAL INSTEAD?

Answer
Amy

It is possible to have your appendix removed under an epidual or what is called a spinal anaesthetic. It is not a technique used commonly for this procedure but as I'm sure you know, many women have their children born by Caesarean section using these techniques.
I hope this helps
