Question
I am having surgey and I take phentermine , I will have anesthesia given to me at the time of surgery , are there any risks?

Answer
There are no specific risks as long as your anesthesiologist is aware that you are taking this medicine. There is some possibility of blood pressure swings but it really depends on your other health issues. If you are otherwise healthy, the risks are minimal.
