Question
I have a doctor who I think is saying(where the blank is indicated): Patient is admitted to the ward, taken to the operating room on the 17th of February, low transverse caesarean section bilateral ________________ was done without incident. It sounds like he is saying something "injectory" Can you help me with this?

Thanks,

Nikki

Answer
Hi Nikki

This is a difficult one. The bilateral bit would suggest that something was done to the fallopian tubes or the ovaries. Though it could be both ends of the incision! The only procedure that tends to be done at this time is sterilisation i.e. occlusion of the fallopian tubes by some means for those who have requested this. Sorry I am at a loss as to what else to suggest.
