Question
I'm a US med student considering a future career in Anesthesiology. I know the specialty is competitive, but would you have an idea of average board score numbers?
What would you say is the best, and the worst, thing about Anesthesia?
Also, is research recommended for Anesthesia applicants? I'd like to present the strongest resume possible, so I would really appreciate your feedback. Thanks!

Answer
I don't know average board scores but at my institution we like above 220. There is no best an worse, that is purely an individual thing so it would be tough for me to answer that. As for research, it is not required and probably does not help much.
