Question
I have a question about becoming an anaesthetist. Once you are an RN, you must have at least one year of critical care before applying to a School of Anesthia, right? Can you please add more details to what it is like and what you do for that minimum of a year in critical care?

Thanks!

Answer
Britt
This is outiwth my experience. I have followed the traditional medical school training and then specialised in anaesthesia. In the UK the new Anaesthesia Practitioner model is in its infancy and we have no involvement within my region.
Sorry.
