Anesthesiology/CRNA vs. Anesthesiologist

Question
I am currently a senior in high school and am wanting to be either a CRNA or an Anesthesiologist. I hear that since CRNAs don't have as high as of a malpractice insurance, that their salary ends up being very close to the same as an Anesthesiologist. I was also wondering how many more years of Grad school it would take to be an MD, and which career you would suggest for someone that doesn't mind extra school.

Thank you,
Cara

Answer
Salaries are not the same (CRNA's TEND to make less) and they are always under the oversight of an MD. To be an MD anesthesthesiologist requires 4 yrs college, 4 yrs med school and 4 yrs residency training and obviously I would recommend this pathway.
