QuestionHello,
My name is Sara and I am currently a sophomore in high school, but I have recently sparked a interest in Anesthesiology. I was wondering what type of classes I should take for the rest of high school?? I am in honors algebra 2 first semester and then pre-calc.(which is a class with most seniors) but I do know buy researching that you need to be really good in specific sciences, such as biology. At my school you take biology your freshman year, and they do offer biology honors. but I was placed in the regular class, and passed with a 93%. Being in a regular class does this mean I would struggle a lot in Anesthesiology??
AnswerYou've got a long way to go before worrying about that. Taking any of the science courses in high school will prepare you for those same science courses in college. It doesn't matter if they are honors or not. It is how you do on your science courses in college that predict how much you will struggle in medical school and or anesthesiology. Just keep studying hard and learn as much as you can and you should do fine.
