Question
I have a question about going to med school. I'm in a Jr. college right now and planning to transfer to a University (preferably a UC). Do I have to complete 4 years of University before I can get into Med school? I am planning to become an anesthesiologist. After the 4 years of med school how many years of training will be required, or is that all given in med school? Lastly, what major represents Anesthesiology? Assist.org doesn't have Anesthesiology as an option to pick as a major for transfer.

Answer
After 4 yrs of college, you need 4 yrs of medical school and then 4 yrs of anesthesia residency. There is no "major" for anesthesiology. In collge you can major in anything and there are no majors in medical school.
