Question
I AM 70 YEARS OF AGE AND HAD THE TURPS SURGERY ABOUT 2 YEARS AGO AND MY UROLOGIST ADVISED ME TO HAVE ANOTHER ONE IMMEDIATELY USING THE LASER TECHNIQUE THIS TIME. REQUEST ADVISE WHICH ANESTHESIA IS RECOMMENDED AND ANY OTHER SUGGESTIONS YOU MIGHT HAVE.  THANK YOU.

Answer
Generally these are done under spinal anesthesia but without knowing your medical history, it is hard to give a recommendation. When you see the anesthesiologist, he will give you the options.
