Question
HOW MUCH DOES anesthesiologist make

Answer
It depends on a lot of factors including where you live, what type of practice (private vs academic), what type of anesthesia (general vs cardiac vs pediatrics, etc), whether you take call, etc., etc. As a ballpark, you can expect to start out between $130K to $200K and can make over $400K after several years of partnership in a private practice. Academic anesthesiologists make significantly less.
