Anesthesiology/career question

Question
I am a business/undecided major at Drexel.  I am interested in becoming an anesthesiologist, however I heard that I will need to a d.o. or m.d.  Approximately how long is an anesthesiology program, including clinical and will American Institutions look down on doctors who attended med school in a different country?  Also, what are the requirements for a naturopathic physician to obtain their anethesiology license?

Answer
Med school is 4 yrs and anesthesiology is another 4 yrs. Getting into anesthesia from a foreign school is difficult at this time because it is very competitive but it is not impossible. I don't know what a naturopathic physician is but you cannot obtain an anesthesiology license without medical school and an approved anesthesiology residency.
