I have been in practice 10 years

what kind of salary can be expected?

It varies. Generally you start out from $150K to $200K but it can go up to over $400K if you are in private practice.

and the pros and cons about your job?

Pros: Exciting, challenging, helping society, good compensation, prestige.

Cons: Long hours, risk of malpractice, Government redtape, high stress.
