Question
hi i had my gallbladder removed some years ago, can you tell me if this is the normal drugs used in operation,
diazimuls 10mg, brietal sodium 70, scoline 75, pavulon 5, fentanyl 0.1,  atropine 1.2, neostigmine 2.5 the operation lasted 78 minutes , would be grateful for any information . christine

Answer
Hi Christine
Some years ago (?how many) You don't mention if it was open or a laparoscopic operation?
Diazemuls 10mg and brietal is an unusual combination for induction of anaesthesia (I assume they were given at the beginning or was the diazemuls given later in the procedure?) Scoline 75mg for intubation is not unusual though I guess from the dose that you are quite light. Same again pavulon is reasonable. Fentanyl is given for pain relief and this may be a rather small dose depending on how your gallbladder was removed.
Atropine and neostigmine are normal at the end of the procedure.
The final question I have is how were you kept asleep? Were you given a volatile agent to breath e.g. halothane, enflurane, isoflurane or sevoflurane?
So that is a run through based on the little info you have provided though I have sent back many questions, sorry but I hope above helps.
