Question
how painful if the recuperation from arthroscopic knee surgery

Answer
Hi there
We routinely provide this service as a day case procedure in my hospital. So the quick answer is that it can be uncomfortable but not really painful. However the extent of pain does depend on how much is being done. Most procedures result in minor discomfort which is easily controlled with simple pain killers. It is only when doing more complex surgery such as cruciate ligament reconstruction that it becomes more uncomfortable. However this can still be managed easily.
Best of luck.
