Question
Hi, my name is Grace.

When i grow up i want to be an anesthesiologist, and i just wondered how a typical day at work would be as an anesthesiologist.

P.S. What exactly do they pay when you leave collage and get this job?

Answer
Hi there Grace
From your question I have to assume you are in the USA. I am uncertain of training requirements and salaries over there.
I trained for 6 years to become a doctor and then for a further 6 years to become a Consultant Anaesthetist in the UK.
Every day is different for me and that is one of the wonderful things about the job. We work in maternity, intensive care, theatres and even specialised clinics to manage patients with chronic pain. Some people like this variety while others find it better to work in just a single area.
I hope this helps a bit.
