Hi, i was wondering what things should i study if i want to become an anesthesiologist because i am about out of high school and i don't know what i need to study in college or ever what kind of college i need to try to get in to? Can you help me?

I am a Consultant Anaesthetist in the UK. My interests include ambulatory or day surgery, obstetric anaesthesia and analgesia, acute pain management (use of epidurals and patient controlled analgesia)anaesthesia for surgery on the airway, orthopaedics and most things except brains and hearts. Interest in prehospital care of trauma and provision of medical cover at motorsport events.
