When last seen, Angel broke into her apt. and saved her from an overdose. She did not invite him in. What's up with that? I know she "moved on", got a law degree etc. This seems to break with continunity and the mythology of the show. bummed beyond beleif about the cancellation

Hi Katherine.

In answer to your question, Angel was allowed in because Kate was technically dead.  Remember when Buffy died in season 1 and Xander revived her with CPR?  This is a similar situation.  She was technically dead.  And once a person dies, vampires are allowed to enter their homes.  Thats why Kate says she was happy Angel came because she knew that she was really dead and Angel saved her.

I hope that answers your Q.  And yes, I'm really bummed about the show being cancelled too!  So upsetting!
