does buffy appear at all in the last season of angel? i know that they have her voice from the BTVS ep 'the prom' for an ep and a double for her in another ep, but is SMG actually in any eps?

Firstly I want to say thank you for your question and not really secondly but joint firstly- sorry for the delay in getting your question. I've been celebrating the birth of a new member of the family- my new baby cousin. Sorry once again.

Anyway, to answer your question Sarah Michelle Geller does not appear in season five of Angel. She was meant to be in the episode 'The girl in question' but rumour has it she said that she had to be in the finale or nothing. Joss Whedon said ok nothing then because he didn't want the end of the show to be focused on a guest star.

However the character of Buffy might be in the episode- but only a stand-ins back of the head, as Angel and Spike keep missing her as they chase after her round Rome. What the episode lacks in Buffy it makes up with the Angel and Spike banter.
