is smoking pot a big taboo on the island or is the island more like jamaica..i am trying to decide if i want to bring my kids along with me..they were approached in jamaica..i am not againest pot ,i just don`t want my kids to be approached..thank you

I have never heard of anyone on Anguilla being approached to buy drugs.  I am aware that there is a big problem with this in Jamaica. I think there is a problem with this in certain areas of Mexico also.

 I can almost guarantee you that unless someone is actively seeking it out, you will not see any drug activity on Anguilla.  It might be more likely that your kids would be served alchohol.  You will also not be hassled to buy souveniers on Anguilla either, as there is almost no shopping activity at all.  The beaches and the wonderful people are only a couple of the advantages of an Anguillan vacation.  If I can help you any further, please don't hesitate to ask.
