Question
my dogs got out of my fince some how i called the spca and animal control to please be on the look out the spca called back they didnt have my dogs 15 minutes they used on gas to get the dogs they needed nothing now they want 125.00 dollars per dog we dont have the money now they want me to give up my dogs for a 25.00 dollar fee per dog are they in this to get dogs home or for the money

SPCA is usually an excellent group, they rescue many dogs from puppy mills, etc., and I'm sure they are just being cautious. They see SO much cruelty and abuse. I bet if you explained your situation, that they are your loving pets and you do not have that kind of money, they may just give you your dogs back.
If not, call Animal Control again and explain your situation - perhaps they will help?

This is not my expertise as I deal mostly with farm animal cruelty in factory farms and slaughterhouses.... dealing directly with groups who rescue and save animals raised for food. But - I do know the group your speaking about.
