Question
Hello,
I am in Grade 8 and I am doing a project about a problem in the world. I have chosen to do animal testing. I have read information here that has been very helpful, but I would also like to get some information, firsthanded. I like in the Toronto area, so could you give me a list of people I could call/e-mail in Toronto who could give me more information and tell me about themselves?

Hello Rachel,
Thank you for being concerned about the animals. Yes! There are a couple of very active, informative groups in the Toronto area. Here are links to their websites.
Toronto Vegetarian Society: http://www.veg.ca/
There is a place at the top to contact them. I am sure they would be more than happy to help you with your project.
Also, there is: http://www.animal-rights.ca/
The Toronto Animal Rights Society. They should be able to help as well, so you will have two avenues to get information.
PETA.org is also another great site that gives a LOT of info on animal testing, or what is called vivisection.
