Question Dear Bailey:
i've doing some resarch on animal testing. personaly i dont find it that bad for animal testing. I mean i've asked A LOT of ppl and the last answer i get is "they should do testing on mice and rats" and i searched that 90% of animal testing is on mice and rats only 4 present on primates and 1 present on cats and dogs. i also really started to wonder what would we do if animal testing stopped? do we use humans instead of animals?? its nessesary for medical testing i think. Cosmedic testing, thats what ppl rele argue about. well, ive also learned that ppl ask for alternative ways to test that does not involve animals like "cell creatin" to form organs. Many companies have already swiched. they use donated eyes and retinas for irritation test for example. then i asked myself why didnt they do it sooner or why dont they all swich. well b4 these organs created wherent accurate or stable until recently. I've also heard that many ppl think that people or laboratories pick up animals from the streets from the wild. this isnt true the dont do that becuse its Ilegal. the animals that are in testing are born and raised for testing. other sites and they say that animal testing increases every year. this is also inacurate. im the last 2 yrs animal testing has decreesed and from biochemical testing only 10% is animal testing. i guess what im trying to say is that animal testing is very important for humans. there is so many advansment for it. and you might ask me "would u be the one to be tested?" and thats exactly it Would you?? would you instead of animals????????? what could we do just stop all medical cosmedic and other testing???? just release the product to the market ang "hope" that its not toxic???? what if it si?? what if ur the one that buys this?? thnx for taking the time to read my letter.

Answer Hi Natalia, I'm sorry to say but I highly disagree with you animal testing is highly unessacary and not as useful as you think, there has been many products that were tested on animals that were very toxic to us and killed many. Who says a rat is gunna react to drugs the same way as us? and no they will not just release the product they will use cell recreation with is with human organs and is way more accurate. If you are still not convinced look up SHAC on google. you will see the horrors animals face every day. In my opinion every animal deserves to live a happily and healthy wonderful, long life.
And you may say ohh its just a rat. Right, well animals feel fear, they feel hurt, THEY FEEL PAIN!!!!!!!!!! just like us. it hurts!!!!!
