Question
Hi I'm a freshman and for my speech class we are required to give a persuasive speech on any topic. I have chosen animal experimentation. For this speech we are required to have an expert interview. If you could answer some of these questions it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for your time!
1.)Are you personally for or against animal experimentation?
2.)DO you think that there could possibly be a better alternative to animal experimentation?
3.)What animal is the most commonly used?
4.)Is animal testing more common today then it was ten years ago?
5.)Where do they get the animals?

Answer
Haley,

I am not an expert in animal testing, however, I can answer what I know.  For the rest, go to:
www.vivisectioninfo.org

1.  Against any type of animal abuse, exploitation or harm.
2.  There is a better alternative (see website) - it's just cheaper to use animals.
3.  Dogs, cats, monkeys, rats and pigs are most commonly used.
4.  Do not know.
5.  Do not know.

Thanks, and good luck.
