Question
Have you ever heard of breaking a bisons leg to keep them in captivity? I recently found that a bison kept here in Ash Fork at the Monte Carlo truck stop has a broken front leg. I contacted the coconino humane society, who advised me to contact the coconino agriculture and animal welfare department. I did so. I was called back by an "Officer Randy" from that department. He advised me that this is acceptable practice. ?????????? This part of the country doesnt offer alot of Animal Rights groups. I have done a bit of research and really cant find anyone to help. I sent a letter to Senator McCain, and PETA. Where else can I look. This is wrong, I know it, and not sure what to do next.
