I am doing a project and i need to know if you think that coats made with dog fur be against the law?

Unfortunately, I believe the importing of dog fur coats has been stopped. I am not sure it is illegal. But the pressure brought by animal rights protest industry activists has certainly caused stores to stop buying it and making it available. If memory serves, the reason why the clothing could be stopped was that the fur was mislabeled and therefore fraudulent.

You could always search U.S. import laws to be sure.
