Animal Rights/Condominium rules regarding cats

Question
My assoc "just" decided that we can no longer let our cats outside free, they need to be on a lease.  My female cat will go crazy being inside and "hate" being on a lease, do you know of any laws that stop this new rule?

Answer
If this rule has been passed then i'm afraid there is not much you can do about it. Try looking at it in a positive way. Here is a link to a site that explains why this new law has been passed and why it could help protect your cat.

Expertise

I can answer questions on animal cruelty and can provide links to animal charities involved with this work. I cannot answer questions on legal bills. I can provide information on upcoming events and general information about veganism and vegetarianism. I do not want to be attacked for my beliefs and any such questions will be ignored.

Experience

I write emails to help prevent animal cruelty and have also done peaceful demonstrations and fundraising for animals. I also attend vegan fairs on a regular basis. I am currently at university studying Wildlife Conservation.
