Animal Rights/Pit Bulls

I agree. Pits are actually a very sweet breed and are unfairly discriminated against. However, I can also see the other side of the debate, as idiots frequently use them for fighting. It's unfortunate that people have treated these sweet dogs this way and given them such a bad rap.

You can view and sign the petition here:

Here's some more information about this petition:

End Discriminatory HOA/Rental Pet Policies- Costing the tax payer and government money in animal control and euthanasia.

Breed restriction on rescued animals should certainly be illegal. By placing bans on where certain animals are allowed to live only forces them back into the poorest neighborhoods where these rules and structures are more loosely organized. Which obviously only exacerbates the problem we're already facing, of stray dogs and animal abuse. It is nearly impossible to find an apartment or realtor that will not place some sort of 'breed restriction' or an even more illogical 'height or weight restriction' on rental properties. This is not only unfair discrimination against the animals it is unfair discrimination against owners of animals.

Want to know the REAL facts behind the ridiculous scare stories animal rights organisations put out in order to acheive their ultimate aim of "total animal liberation"? Or how about where the money that these organisations get goes, since they dont run any animal shelters, dont actually HELP any animals and are purely political parties

I'm a vet student, I deal with these animal rights people day in and day and see the harm they do all around me. I would very much like to help put the record straight on a lot of these issues.
