Question
how does hunting monkeys badly affect people. i need to know this information for an independant essay i have to write.
This is slightly outside my expertise but i have done some research and the only thing i can come up is that monkeys pass on diseases to humans and close contact such as humans get when they hunt monkeys can spread these diseases. One such disease is the Ebola/Marburg viruses. Monkeys are carriers and can transfer it to humans, especially in monkey corpses. The symptoms are a high fever. There is no way of telling till it is in its advanced and most fatal stages that you have it. Once one human has it it spreads rapidly and can soon become endemic.
