i am able to spend 80,000-1,00,000/-($2500)
Which processor is best INTEL OR AMD?

ANSWER: I use dual quad core Xeons. This gives you a total of 8 cores per workstation. Check out Dell's Precision line of desktops and Boxxtech's custom built machines. I would also recommend a 64 bit OS. Happy shopping.

What is the main difference between workstation & server&dual processor systems.Server is useful to my work or not?If yes Which is the best to my money?
pls give me the above questions because i dont the clear knowledge

Answer
A server is just a name given to any computer that operates as a network machine. A workstation is a computer for an individual. Although a server can be a powerful computer, you can get the same capability from a workstation. There is no reason to buy a server. I would recommend getting a dual quad core Xeon based workstation. This means you buy a computer configured as a stand alone workstation that comes with 2 Intel Xeon CPUs, each CPU will have 4 cores, giving you a total of 8 cores.

Let me know if you have any more questions.
