Question
I am an out of states writer that dreams about creating animation series. I have a guarenteed hi-tec job but I wish to try my luck in the business.

I have gone through several courses relating animation and has prepared 2 project proposals so I can show my worth.

I wrote to all studios, companies and agents and even so some said they'll contact me in the future, none really invited me in for an interview.

I ain't looking just to sell my projects but also maybe the chance of working in the industry as any entry level job in the beginning

I could really use and would appreciate any help and advices you may give.

Answer
Hello Yehonatan,

At the moment there are more people to do the work than there is work to do here in the US at the moment. So the opportunities are a bit slim here in Los Angeles. Personal interviews ar rare these days unless you're in the running with other folks for a real job that's ready to hire. Usually it's for very specific positions.

You just have to be persistant and keep looking at all the job postings and send your resume to them. AWN has a lot of postings around the world.
