Question
i was wondering how to uploading pictures from "gimp" to "creatoon" you proably dont know but im just trying anyways. because i have no idea how to upload a picture onto the animation program i download, so that it doesnt show the white background of the drawing. ex. i tried drawing pictures in paint, but when i upload it you can see the white background.

Answer
Hello Rhianna,

I'm not familiar with the programs you mentioned but having a transparent background requires the use of alpha channels like in PhotoShop. Read in the manuals of the programs you use to see how they make transparent elements. Some programs use a Chroma Key that works like the green screen effects used in live action movies.

See Articles below:

Look at the bottom tip using PhotoShop

Hope this helps.
