Question
I was wondering on your thoughts on 1 year animation courses.I looked at http://www.daveschool.com/ as well as NYFA. Classes are $34.000 for the year. I already know a little of after effects and photoshop and I'm very skilled with FCP, but i really love motion graphics and animation so I'm ready to make the leap.
Thanks for any advice.
D.L.

Answer
Hi Dave. I'm not familiar with the school you linked but their info seems very impressive, although so does their tuition! There's no reason for me to believe you wouldn't get an excellent experience through their course. The only thing I would suggest is that you may want to think about the area of the industry you'd like to focus on. Many schools are tailored to gaming while some are more about live action or web based media. If you have a particular interest in one of these, the school you choose should reflect that...

thanks and good luck,
Andrew
