Question
I imported a series of PNG pictures that make up an animation into After Effects as a "sequence" and it was arranged on the timeline, but the duration of each picture was too long.

How can I arrange a series of pictures and shorten the duration of each clip?

Answer
in after effects, time-stretch your .png sequence to shorten it. for example, in the time-stretching controls, you can set time-stretching at 50% to double the speed.

normally you number your .pngs in the order you want them to play, i.e. test001.png would play before test002.png. you also want to make sure you have enough leading zeroes in your naming structure so that after effects does not confused.

if you want to reorder .pngs in after effects you can still do that by trimming them out of your sequence, and cutting and pasting them where you want them to go.

please let me know if you have any other questions.
