Question
I am not sure whether to go for 3d animation or 2d animation or any other animation. Can you please advice me which kind of animation has the best scope in the market. where in one can actually grow and build a career in it.

Answer
hi kamran,

my advice is to find an area of animation that interests you. ultimately, i believe you will excel at whatever area you are most passionate about.

having said that, 3D probably has the most opportunities, in terms of animated films and special effects. it is also very structured nowadays, with specific roles given to modelers, animators, riggers, lighters, technical directors, etc. if there is a specific role you would like to fill, then this could be a good fit for you.

the market is large and there are different opportunities for people with different skills, both 2D and 3D. are you in india? the market there may be very different than the market in the usa. you could do an internship to get more info about your specific market, and to find what aspects of animation interest you the most.
