Question
Dear expert

I am located overseas, and I created a power point document that has 80 photos, taken with my digital camera, and I created some music to listen while viewing my slides. I tried to e-mail that Power Point slide show to my relatives in America, but the file is too big. I am unable to attach it to hotmail, and I am unable to attach it to Yahoo either. What should I do please?

I will not be able to use any other e-mail services because I am using business computer. The only one available in this computer is either hotmail or yahoo.

Thanks for your help and support

Answer
hi karam, it sounds like you need to enlist the help of an online file hosting service. these are basically services where you can upload large files to their servers, then send a link to your family from where they can download the files. the one i use the most is:

http://www.yousendit.com/

please keep in mind that after a certain file size, many of these services charge money. if your total file size is 100MB or less, then i think the above service is free. but above that, you may have to pay some money. also, you will probably have to sign up. another service i've heard of (but only used once) is:

http://imageshack.us/

for a list of other services, including ones that may not be as reliable but have a much higher file size limit, check out the chart here:

pls let me know if you have any other questions. good luck!
