Questioni want to make a animated gif or a slideshow image out of a few jpeg pictures i have but everytime i try to make 1 from gifninga or gif making site its really small, looks weird like the color faded, slow or it doesnt finish the animation like it only goes half way through. i tryed useing a free software photobie and i couldnt figure it out and making a video of it and then converting it into gif format but didnt work. do you know how to make a gif image that shows all my pictures and in HD?
Answerhi krystine, do you have access to photoshop? i realize you are probably trying to create the animated gif with freeware, but ive gotten the best results using photoshop. if you have photoshop, or a friend who has photoshop, i suggest trying to create your animated gif using that program. it can be a bit complicated, but the results will be good.
once you have launched photoshop, you will need to create a multilayered photoshop document that includes all the layers that you want to 'animate'. after you have prepared your multilayered photoshop document, go to Window --> Animation to open up the animation panel. here you can keyframe such parameters as Postion, Opacity, and even Style. once you have keyframed your animation, go to File --> Save For Web & Devices, where you can save out your work as an animated gif. it is in this panel that you can specify whether your animation loops or not (or plays a certain number of times).
as far as HD, that is a pretty high resolution format, so you will want to make sure your photoshop document is in a HD resolution. typically 1920x1080, but depending on your output device, the specs could be different.
please let me know if you have any other questions. thanks!
