Question
QUESTION: Trying to find a 30's cartoon, I thought it was from the Fleischer's but no success on bcdb.com. It features a department store in which, when it closes, all the merchandise comes to life... dancing Tabasco bottles with castanets, wieners that become dogs and chase each other around. As I recall, it was all-singing, all-dancing musical with the only villain maybe an egg-beater run-amuck. Ok, there are 1000's of cartoons, but this kind of style can usually be tracked to one studio or one guy.  Thanks

ANSWER: Hi Tom,

There are a lots of this kind of cartoon from the 30's and early 40's. I'm looking for the particular one you're asking for so it may take a couple of days. I found a few like it, so you can watch them and have a laugh or two.

Hope this helps.

QUESTION: Wow, "How do I know its Sunday" is really close, but I think it was a little sweeter in tone. Thanks!!

Answer
Hi Tom,

Here's an MGM cartoon that you might find amusing. Seems like every other kind of bottle except Tobasco though.
