Question
Hi,
I need a simple programme to animate Windows bitmap images. Windows Movie Maker would have been OK if it was faster, but I'm doing it 12.5 frames per second. Any recommendations? Cheers.

Answer
Hi Paul,

I'm a mac guy and don't use windows very often. I know Photoshop (which works on windows and mac) has a way of playing images or layers as a movie. There are some animation programs out there for creating"Pencil tests" .

The following URLs has some info on animation:

http://www.freebyte.com/graphicprograms/#animation

http://graphicssoft.about.com/od/gifanimationsoftware/GIF_Animation_Software_for...

There are many apps out there for creating 2D animation. It all depends on how much you're willing to spend.

Hope this helps.
