Animation/animation interview

Question
Hello Mr Calabrese, I was wondering if you answer this from your experiences.  Soon I'l be attending a university interview for an animation course.  I was just wondering if you had any idea what kind of work they'd like to see in the portfolio etc.
Thank you

Answer
Hi Matt,

You'll need a lot of drawings.

Life sketches. Animal sketches.
Any animation you've done on your own.
Character designs. Paintings. 3D "Maya type" models and animation if you want to go into that end of animation. Storyboards. Scripts.

The list is endless.

You can ask the school what they want. They'll probably tell you or send you a list they require.

Different schools require different elements for a portfolio review.

Hope this helps.
