Question
Hi Mr.Calabrese,
I am Phani.I am from India.I have completed my Graduation in Mechanical Engineering 2 years ago.Since then I have been working in a software company.
I have been always interested in drawing and painting since my childhood.Infact I have chosen my graduation stream and my current job out of interest for drawing things.
Please let me know what exactly I need to do to become a full-fledged animator. What are the courses I need to enroll.
I was trying different websites but could not get precise information.

Thanks for your valuable time.

Answer
Hi Phani,

Being here in the USA I really can't give you any advice on schools in India. In California you can look up CalArts or UCLA for film TV and animation classes.

Here are the websites for these schools:

http://www.tft.ucla.edu/

http://calarts.edu/film/video

I hope this helps.
