Sir,i really want to know the importance of having a good drawing skill in the animation industry except in  2d and 3d animation,like in modelling,texturing and other .i want to know WHERE and most importantly HOW  it can help me and what problem i face if i dont have it. And why should i really have to learn it.

Drawing is important becuase it gives you a quick and simple way to visualize what you will be doing on the computer in 2d or 3d. It allows you the ability to understand and plan your modeling/animation before you begin. It's an important skill and one that is a definite plus to have. This does not mean you can't be a successful modeler/animator without it, but it certainly is an advantage.  Drawing is also something that can be taught and improved upon but there is still a inherit ability that you either possess or don't.  I would suggest sketching as much as you can to learn your own abailities and where they can be improved upon...
