I guess the most animators are hired in and around Seoul, Korea and Mumbai, India these days. Where are you from and what kind of background do you have?
There are animation studios all over the world. There are studios in all major cities of all major countries. What kind of animation are you interested in?

Disney in Southern California and Pixar in Northern California and Blue Sky in Connecticut are the big three for work done in the USA.

Hi Diego,

The competition is quite tough right now. If you know the concept of supply and demand; we have too many animators and not enough projects to work on. this is making it very competitive and is driving the pay scale down.
The better you are and who you know make a big difference in getting and keeping a job.
