Question
Hi Mr. Calabrese,

My son at age  10 has already filled his DSI with animation. He  loves it. I currently have him taking course at the local university. But do you know who I could contact to find him a mentor? I mean his cartoons not only move but they include sound effects and music. He's a walking encyclopedia from Texas Avery to Walt Disney. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thank You

Answer
Hi Leigh,

I started out pretty young myself doing flip books on history books and pixelation with my dad's 8mm camera, so I know what it's like to be extremely involved in cartoons.
I have some professional friends and teachers in different parts of the US who might want to help out.
Where do you live?
Do you want to pay someone like you would with "guitar or piano lessons?"
