Question
Hi, I'm trying to choose a laptop for graphics design and animation. I want to know that if "Asus K52JT-XT1 15.6" Notebook " is suitable for this job or not. The below link contains the specification of this Laptop.
http://www.asus.com/Notebooks/Versatile_Performance/K52JT/#specifications
Thanks.

Answer
Hey Mohamed,

Trust me when I say that I've done a whole lot with a whole lot less, when it comes to computing power.  That laptop will be suitable for many applications, including 3D apps, and video editing.  I would try to go with the i5 processor at least, and the i7 if you can.  Also try to max out your memory.  It said that this laptop is expandable to 8gb of memory. I would try to max it, even if that requires a 64-bit operating system (most 32-bit OS max out using 4gb of ram#.

Outside of that, I'll say that your laptop will be better than the desktop workstation that I have been working on for a few years.  I just built a new one #that will blow a whole lot of machines away# but until I get all new software, most of my design will be done on the old system.

Remember: 1) try to get the i7 processor #i5 at least)
         2) max out your memory

Cheers,
Andre
