Question
When I grow up I want to be a game designer and also an animator so I can have my own anime show but I was wondering what preperations should I be taking in order to be on top of my game when I go to college I'm a sophmore now so I have 2years to work on my skills(drawing) but what else should I do and is it possible to do both?

Answer
Hi Kiara,

I don't know where you are living so it's tough to figure out what schools are available in your area. There are plenty of off the shelf software programs like Flash and Maya to learn. Also for game design you need to be able to understand programing a bit. Do you want to focus on 3D or 2D Animation? Most games now are 3D. It's possible to do both if you really want to work hard to accomplish your goals. Don't give up and don't be afraid or embarrased to ask questions.
