Question
Sir,
How is career in Compositing course, after this can i get
job easly? What will be the starting sallary in Mumbai?

Answer
Hello Javed,

I really can't answer you questions in a straight answer.  for one, I don't know anything about the economy and artistic "playing field" of India.  I am in the U.S. and I suppose that the supply and demands on Graphic designers is much different in both places.

I will say this, that from my experience here, getting a job is really about who you know, and not totally dependant on what you know.  If you decide on taking the course work, get to know your teachers very well, and develope a good repoire with them.  Chances are they are also professionals who work in the industry, and if they see some potential in you, they may refer you to their colleagues, and possibly get a door opened for you that may have otherwise been shut. Also take on any internships that you may find available, and get some hands on experience in a production facility, and you can get to know some of the people that you may work for/with in the future.

I hope this helps.

Cheers,
Andre'
