Hello Andre,

I ran across your name on the internet and was hoping you could help me with a "modeling" prob.  

I am fairly new at 3d programming, but I get the jist of 3d max and how it works.  I also have a cyberware head scanner that I can use and it exports directly into 3ds.  

My problem is that I need to create a kind of "mr potato head" so I can move stuff around the head model dynamically, spit out some numbers, and it has to be a stand-alone application.  I've been looking at alot of 3d engines, both free and commercial, but it just seems like overkill, and even so I can't seem to find a reasonable one to use.  Do you have any suggestions?  I mostly do programming in VB 6.0, c++, .net, matlab, mostly data analysis stuff.  I can be e-d at irsillymonkey@yahoo.com.  If you have any suggestions that would be great.

Ok, (back to reality) I know 3D Max very well.  When I was in school, I took C+ classes, and I've used matlab to analyse Jacobian Matrices for actuator compensation of a six-degree of freedom robotic arm.  So I know where you are coming from.  We need to talk more personably so that I can really get a feel for what you are actually trying to accomplish. I think I can help.  I will contact you on your yahoo, so that we can make this thing happen.
