Question
Hi,
I was just wondering how they put Tom Burgerons head on America's Funniest Videos, on a movie sequence.  That is hilarious and i would love to do it.

Answer
Hi Amanda - I haven't seen the sequence, but I imagine that they probably cut his head out from a photo using a program like Adobe Photoshop. If the head is from a movie clip, then they may have used a program like Adobe After Effects to cut him out using animated masks. If the animation is pretty crude, they would have then hand-tracked the face to the other movie sequence, or they may have done an actual "track" using tracking points from the sequence. Tracking is when you find distinct points or areas in footage to "stick" a photo to.
